Combination Tour ( Libya – Tunis )
3 days and 2 nights tour to Libya in the area of Tripolitania ( Tripoli – Sabratha – Leptis Magna ) .
Day 01 :Djerba – Sabratha – Tripoli
Early pick from Djerba then drive to The Libyan border and after we gothrough the border formalities we will drive to visit the ancient city of Sabratha on the Mediterranean Sea (80 kilometers west of Tripoli). The Phoenician merchants selected Sabratha as an Emporium, or trading post because of her position on the Mediterranean ,it holds one of the most and foremost a creation of the Roman genius for building cities. After visiting this site and having lunch at local restaurant , we will continue to Tripoli for dinner and overnight .( L / D )
Day 02 : Tripoli – Leptis Magna – Tripoli.
Tripoli After breakfast depart for Leptis Magna, an easy 130 Kms east of Tripoli , Leptis Magna, one of the best-preserved cities of antiquity, was founded by Phoenician merchants around the beginning of the first millennium BC. Visit the Hadrian Baths, the Column Street, the New Forum, the Punic Market, the Theatre and the Amphitheater afterwards , we will drive back to Tripoli for Dinner and overnight Hotel Al Wahat 4 stars.( B / L / D ) .
Day 03 : Tripoli ( National Museum ) – DJERBA . End of service.
Morning visit to the national museum, said to rival the British Museum in quantity and quality of artifacts, with the exception that all artifacts in this museum were discovered in Libya, not brought in from somewhere after that we will drive to the Libyan Tunisian border stopping on the way for lunch then continue to DJERBA . ( B / L ) End of service .
